Delhi – P1

Hi all, Let’s give a break for Nature and Starting a New series on City Round up. I have Visited 3 Major Cities in India – Chennai , Mumbai and Delhi. I will cover the places visited in Delhi with the Pictures . This is really exciting for me to write about the Capital City of India as my first City write up.

How to reach –

As Delhi is the capital city of India, it has all the best connections. It has all the best connection accessible from Airways & Railways from all Majors cities. I believe Bus connections should be effective to the neighboring states.

Best months to Enjoy –

I personally feel, from Mid-Feb to March can be delighted in as you would endure the warmth, however, we as a whole totally worn out in the long stretch of March. The good thing, however, is you won’t get sweat. The later months from March is the period of Summer and you will feel the Temperature near 40C Plus.

We also didn’t explore the complete city due to time constraints , So I will share my experiences with the places we visited.

How we reached –

We began our Journey from Chennai to Delhi in Rajdhani Express. We reached Agra the following day around 8AM. We visited Agra, Mathura and reached Delhi. It is a decent decision to Visit Delhi subsequent to Visiting Agra and Mathura and I would recommend the same as you would be comfortable to get to Airport or Railway station in Delhi after your visit in Delhi. I will post a separate blog on Agra & Tajmahal.

Capital city of India has Many attractions that can be covered in a day or two.

The major attractions we covered ..

  1. Parliament House
  2. Indira gandhi House
  3. Raj Ghat
  4. Qutb Minar
  5. Lotus Temple
  6. India Gate
  7. Rashtrapati Bhavan
  8. Redfort

There are other attractions in Delhi that can be covered if you have more days and time.

I will start sharing pictures from successive posts.
