We covered only viewing the 6 view points in Pahalgam as we didn’t have much time to explore and try out any activities .

Once you reach Pahalgham, You need to hire pony from this location to visit the Six View points . From this place, the actual trekking starts ,you need to climb the hills to see the view points. Chandanwari view point – where they will show you the starting point of Amarnath Yatra from Pahalgam , as we move further, they will show us the Hill view of Kargil . Unfortunately , I m not able to recall the other view point names now π . Sorry about that ..
on our way trekking, we delighted in the climate and scenery of course .We can’t take our eyes off from the hills as it has such a wonder and treat . There are places you would get the chance to see beautiful river stream , really it was ice berg softening and flows like a river stream.
Unlike Sonamarg and Gulmarg, Pahalgam’s experience is trekking as we didn’t got much time there for other sightseeing , but the hill view was FANTABULOUS ! .
From this place, they will show the Chandanwari View
If I remember it right , From this place, they will show Kargil View
Other Hill View Pictures taken from one of the View Point
On the way from Pahalgam to Srinagar, we could see a river passing by and wanted to spend some time and take pictures. The stream of river was high, the rocks were slippery and the chillness of water resembled it was frosty, not able to get in to the stream to sit on the rock π
To conclude , Pahalgam is a excellent place to visit with your family and ofcourse if you are adventure lover, Its a place for you ! . Try to spend atleast a day here for exploring as we didn’t do much other than the View points.
