Checkpoint Charlie –
One of the most well-known attractions in Berlin is Checkpoint Charlie, the former border crossing between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. It has been turned into a museum that celebrates the people who risked their lives to escape to freedom. Visitors can go inside the guardhouse and examine artifacts that tell the stories of those brave individuals.
