Festivals are a part of Indian Culture. There are a lot of dazzling stories for Each Festival . Deepavali has so many stories connected to it . It is called as Festival of Lights. Our Ancestors says, Light is the sign of victory and Darkness means failure.
Stories on Deepavali –
- South Indians Celebrate Deepavali for Naragasuran’s death – He was killed by his Mother Boomadevi and his last wish is to celebrate his death as a Festival , so he will remembered for ever.
- North Indians Celebrate Deepavali for Lord Rama came back to Ayodhya after killing Ravana .
Hey, I never knew it exists such a celebration.
Yes , We have festival of lights – you can say ” Diwali or Deepavali ” .. It is on Tuesday ..
I heard of Diwali, it’s that celebration when you “play” with colors, right?
No, Playing with colours is ” Holi” . We will play with crackers on this festival lol 🙂
