The Spanish Steps –
The Spanish Steps, known in Italian as Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti, is a monumental stairway that connects the Piazza di Spagna to the Trinità dei Monti church. The steps were constructed in the 18th century and are named after the nearby Spanish Embassy. The steps themselves are adorned with beautiful flowers, making it a picturesque spot for a leisurely stroll or a moment of relaxation. From the top of the Spanish Steps, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the city, including the bustling streets below and the historic buildings that dot the landscape. This iconic staircase, spanning 135 steps, connects the Piazza di Spagna at the base to the Trinità dei Monti church at the top.
